In a surprise announcement, Breeze Airways has listed Manchester, New Hampshire as one of its newest destinations. Breeze Airways is the seventh airline to join the MHT roster (Although it may be considered the sixth seeing as Spirit is leaving) and the Fourth airline to announce service to the Granite State since October 2021.
Seeing Breeze coming to the Granite State is a major deal, as the Airport itself has been wanting the airline to serve the state since its inception as Moxy Airways beginning in 2019. Breeze Airways has been noted as having classes called "Nice", "Nicer", and "Nicest" classes (Economy, Premium Economy, and First or Business). Breeze Operates the Airbus A220 as its flagship aircraft, while also flying the Embraer ERJ190 and ERJ195 aircraft as well, although the carrier intends to use an all-Airbus fleet while transitioning its Embraer fleet for charter operations.
A Breeze Airways Airbus A220-300 visited Portsmouth, NH at the end of 2022, and was the first time an Airbus A220 had ever landed in the Granite State.
Breeze Airways will be launching direct service to Charleston, SC (CHS), Orlando, FL (MCO), and Fort Meyers, FL (RSW). There will also be a one-stop option for Tampa as well which begins September 5, 2024. Breeze will officially begin flying into Manchester on June 14, 2024, with MCO and CHS, and later in October with RSW. These flights will start at 2x weekly on the Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
Fares begin as low as $69 one-way. Bookings are open, and an account is required to book on Breeze Airways as a guest. It Is unknown what gates breeze will use at the airport.
